Fees and Funding
From January 2023 our fees are £8.00 per hour per child. However Government funding is available for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old who are eligible.
We also offer 30hr funding for those children who are eligible. Please check on
to see if you are entitled to funding.
Please check that times and prices are correct when registering your child.

News and Events
Fundraising
Throughout the year everyone at Diddydots Nursery enjoys taking part in various sponsored events and fundraising activities which enable us to buy new equipment, have end of term parties but we mostly do it for the fun whilst taking part. We also like to support our local community. This has included visiting the community library van, singing to residents of the Dengie Trust and more.
Hygge wanderlust
Throughout each term we continue to investigate numbers and colours along with other themes. We follow Hygge wanderlust themes which is nature based learning to allow children to connect with nature and inspiring future generations to be explorers, adventurers and scientists. We connect with nature everyday and learn about wildlife and the natural world around us. empowering children to learn about the world first hand will enthuse them.
Costume Hire
Diddydots Nursery has Peppa pig, her brother George and the Gruffalo costumes that can be hired from us for an event or birthday etc. All children at the nursery are familiar with our Characters as they often come to visit for parties, Easter egg hunts or just pop in to see how we all are. Please take a look in our photo gallery for pictures of the costumes.
The costumes are suitable for adults to wear. For more info or to book the costumes please call us. Prices will be given on enquiry.
Yoga and Makaton
Every day we practise yoga and makaton signs as a big group. We regularly do yoga outside and learn new poses while also going over ones the children already know. we are always learning new makaton signs for words and phrases we say everyday which we encourage the children to use throughout their day.
Sponsored Bike Ride
This year we held our first sponsored event to raise money for a shaded area in our new outside area. The children collected sponsors from their families to ride their bikes or scooters around a small tarmac area close by to our setting. They all done so well and had a lot of fun while cheering each other on too!
2021 School Leavers Ceremony
Every year we say goodbye to the oldest group of children who need to carry on their journey and move up to big school. It is always an emotional occasion but we want the children to have fun and enjoy their last day at Diddydots with us and their friends. This year our set up was very calm and relaxing, the children chose their own food from a buffet style table, we danced to their favourite songs and spoke about the memories they made here.

Out of School Clubs
Holiday Club
Holiday club is run through most of the school holidays on a Tuesday . There are activities, freeplay, games, baking and much, much more. Price of holiday club is confirmed whilst booking. Contact us through Facebook, email or our phone number for more details.
