Our baby room is a calm, nurturing space where are youngest children can explore, develop and grow at their own pace.

For children aged 9-18 months, we follow the principles of the Emmi Pikler approach, giving children;

• time

• freedom

• and confidence

to develop their physical abilities naturally.

 

We encourage independent movement rather than placing children into positions they cannot yet achieve themselves.

Through carefully prepared spaces, open-ended resources and responsive adults

we are supporting our babies to;

• and make discoveries for themselves.
