Welcome to Diddydots Nursery

 and welcome to our website

Here's a bit about us

Membership of Diddydots carries expectations on parents for their support and commitment.

We aim to ensure that each child:

  • is in a safe, stimulating environment

  • is given care and attention

  • is given the chance to join with other children and adults to live, play, work and learn together

  • is helped to take foward their learning and development by being helped to build on what they already know and can do

  • has a key worker who makes sure they are progressing satisfactorily

  • is in a setting where parents are partners that help to shape the service we offer

Please see prospectus for full information regarding the nursery (extra info page).

Here at Diddydots Nursery we aim to provide high quality care and education for 18 months to 5 year old children in a natural environment following the curiosity approach. We work in partnership with parents to help your children learn and develop where we promote equality and value diversity.

We also try our best to add to the life and well-being of the local community. In early 2020 we were lucky enough to be granted some saplings by the Woodland Trust which we planted in the field next to us. As you can imagine we are all excited to watch them grow!

We regard parents as members who have full participatory rights. These include rights to be:

Kept informed

Valued and respected

Included at all levels

What makes us Diddydots

At Diddydots Nursery we believe that the children can learn so much from being outside in our natural world. We are all weather warriors!

At Diddydots Nursery we follow this new approach to learning and create a natural, welcoming environment for each child to learn, develop and grow.

We work closely with a local residential care home to provide a program in which the children and residents can benefit from. We organise activities that all can join.
